Many animals gain fame thanks to their association with celebrities, such as the beloved pets of leaders and presidents, or musicians and artists, or even tech industry celebrities, as happened recently with the dog of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. However, there are animals that gained their fame on their own, as was the case in the past due to their participation in scientific achievements like space travel or the first cloning in the world.

There are also animals that became famous for their predictive abilities, up to the animals of today that gain their fame through social media networks on the internet.
