He picked up a robot exploring the deep sea, the first video ever of the scary-looking Abu Al-Shass fish, a creature that appears to be very dangerous and sometimes called the Black Sea Devil.

Researchers from the Monterrey Bay Hydrobiology Research Institute (MBARI) used a remote-acting vehicle (ROV) to explore the Monterrey Canyon trench in the ocean, a very steep valley on the seabed in California of about 95 miles (153 km) within the Pacific Ocean.

The robotic submarine found the spyfish at a depth of 1968 feet (600 metres) below the surface of the water. The ROV was used by researchers to take pictures and videos of the Abu-Shass fish, then picked up the deep-sea fish and sent it back to the Monterrey Bay Research
Institute for Aquatic Life (MBARI) for a close study.
